Widener University Development

The Power of One

The nearly 275 Widener faculty and staff who have made gifts this year put our students on the inside track to sucesss by supporting financial aid, academic programs, undergraduate research, and strategic initiative funds.  We're grateful for their support, and look forward to many others joining us and unlocking Dr. Wollman's 300 donor challenge gift.  Will you be the one who gets us there?  Learn more and make your gift today >>

When is an IRA distribution not an IRA distribution?

When you make a qualifying gift to a charitable organization like Widener!

Donors above 70 1/2 are able to make gifts directly from their IRA that bypass the required minimum distribution. Charitable distribution gifts can be a tax-wise, and easy, way to make the kind of impact at Widener that you never thought possible.
