Mail your gift

To make a gift by mail, send a check or money order to:

Make checks payable to Widener University, and use the memo line or a cover note to indicate how you would like us to make use of your gift. Gifts may be designated to any school, unit, team, academic program, scholarship, or fund.

Gifts in support of Delaware Law School or Widener Law Commonwealth may be sent to the same address.  Simply make the check out to either of those two schools, or use the memo line or a cover note.

Gifts from Donor-Advised Funds or IRAs

Gifts from Donor-Advised Funds or IRAs can be mailed to the same address as above.  Please ask your fund manager to indicate in a cover letter or note what the gift is to be used for, or email giving@widener.edu to let us know that the gift is on the way and how you would like it used.

Widener University is a 501(c)(3) organization and gifts to Widener are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  As such, Widener is eligible to receive qualified charitable distributions from IRAs and grants from Donor-Advised Funds.  Our United States Federal Tax ID number is 23-1386178.
