2024 Roar4Widener Challenge Winners

Throughout the day during Roar4Widener, we held challenge opportunities to give donors the chance to maximize the impact of their gift.  On a day of giving, every gift matters, and the chance to turn any gift into a powerful statement encouraged gifts from every group that makes up the University community.

The area of the University with the most faculty & staff donors from 8:00 a.m. to 9:59 a.m. EST will be awarded $500 in challenge funds.

The area of the University with the most alumni donors from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. EST will be awarded $1,000 in challenge funds.

Presidential Challenge for Students
12:00 p.m. to 1:29 p.m.
$1,000

The area of the University with the most student donors from 12:00 p.m. to 1:29 p.m. EST will be awarded $1,000 in challenge funds. This challenge is made possible by the generosity of President Robertson. She is excited to inspire philanthropy and celebrate the areas of Widener that students love.

The top 3 areas of the university with the most student donors from 1:30 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. EST will be each be awarded $1,500 in challenge funds and the next 3 areas with the most student donors will each be awarded $500 in challenge funds, made possible by the generosity of Richard Tan. Additional winners will receive $250 in challenge funds.
