Ways to Give

When you choose to give to Widener, you show your appreciation to the institution, faculty and friendships that helped to shape your life.  You show your support for current students and help them receive the resources they need to compete in today’s world. Your gift inspires them to become engaged citizens who will enrich our communities, nation and the world.  And you show your belief in Widener’s future and all that we have yet to accomplish.

How you choose to support Widener is an important and personal decision.  Options include planned giving, matching gifts through your employer, and endowed scholarships.  Call the Development Office at 610-499-4113 to speak with a gift officer who will be happy to discuss which opportunity best suits your goals.

Planned Gifts - You can support Widener while you and your loved ones benefit. Such giving techniques are called "planned gifts," because with thoughtful planning, you can help future generations of Widener students in a manner that benefits your current finances.

Matching Gifts - Many companies sponsor matching gift  programs that can double or triple your contribution to Widener. Such programs typically match all or a percentage of employee contributions to charitable organizations.  Your generosity could have two or three times the impact if your company offers a matching gift program.

Endowed Scholarships - Scholarships are among the most critically important gifts that Widener can receive as they help attract the best and brightest students to the university, while also ensuring our commitment to keeping a Widener education accessible to all qualified students.
