Just as there's no single way to measure all the reverberations one gift has on a student, program, or facility, there's no single way to justly give thanks to our donors, though we'll never stop trying.

The Honor Roll

The donors who help us build the pride are listed with gratitude in our annual Honor Roll of Donors. Our mission is to empower a community of learners to discover and create better futures, and it is made possible by each and every one of you who step up to help us on that path.

Lifetime Giving Societies

Lifetime Giving Societies recognize exceptional cumulative giving to the university. These societies are made up of extraordinary alumni, parents, and friends who, through their generosity, have shaped the university's future.

President's Council

The President's Council is the university's premier giving association, made up of alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff making exceptional annual giving contributions of $2,500 and greater. President Council members receive special invitations to on-campus events throughout the year and have exclusive opportunities to engage with the president and other top university administration. An annual reception is held where the university takes the opportunity to thank all members of the President's Council for their generosity. With the help of some of our most accomplished students, guests see first-hand the tremendous impact their gifts have on the university and on the lives of our students.

Provost's Council

The Provost's Council is the newest giving association at Widener made up of alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff who make annual gifts of $500-$2,499. Provost's Council members receive special invitations to on-campus events throughout the year and have exclusive opportunities to engage with the provost and other top university administration.

Trustees' Loyalty Society

The Trustees' Loyalty Society honors all alumni and donors who have given $25 or more per year for at least twenty years. Benefits of membership include recognition in the Honor Roll of Donors and on the university website, special access and recognition during homecoming and alumni events, invitations to exclusive events, and mementos marking milestone years of giving.

Legacy Society

A gift made to Widener University in your will or estate plan entitles you to membership in the Widener Legacy Society.

One of Widener's most prestigious giving societies, the Widener Legacy Society is comprised of alumni and friends who have provided for Widener in their estate plans through a planned gift. By making these very important and meaningful gifts, members of the Widener Legacy Society have created their own legacy and bolstered the future of Widener University and its students.
